NIGER: Niger Uranium Uranium

NWT Uranium has been active in uranium exploration in Niger since 2006. In the summer of 2007, NWT entered into an agreement with UraMin (which has since been acquired by Areva) to pool their Niger uranium properties in a new organization, Niger Uranium Ltd. The new company is focused exclusively on uranium exploration in Niger and holds a total of eight properties covering 1,673,644 (6,773 square kilometers). NWT Uranium is actively involved in Niger Uranium and is the company's largest shareholder.

MEXICO: Picachos Silver-Gold

NWT Uranium Corp. has negotiated an option to earn 70% ownership in the Picachos Project from Yamana Gold. This holding consists of the 19,000-acre (7,700-hectare) silver-gold Picachos property, which includes the Picachos concession and two Camargo claims in Durango, Mexico.

Extensive ground exploration has revealed a substantially continuous area of mineralization over four neighboring concessions. Further exploration and drilling in one area has confirmed the potential for bulk mining.

QUEBEC: North Rae and Daniel Lake Uranium

NWT Uranium Corp. has signed a binding Letter of Intent to acquire up to 65% interest in the North Rae Uranium Project in the Ungava Bay region in northern Quebec, Canada. Results to date have revealed the potential for a new uranium district. In January 2007, the company signed an option to acquire up to 65% interest in the Daniel Lake Uranium Project, which is contiguous with North Rae and expands NWT Uranium's Quebec project to cover a total area of approximately 305,000 acres (123,500 hectares).

Quebec represents a promising territory for uranium exploration. According to the province's Ministry of Natural Resources, previous mineral exploration work conducted from the 1950s through to the 1980s covered large expanses but has limited significance for current uranium exploration due to the lack of radiometric, geochemical and geological data relevant to the commodity at that time. NWT Uranium intends to apply modern exploration methods, incorporating recent advances in technology, in its property areas.
