Projects Niger Quebec Vietnam Industry Info	Uranium in Niger According to a report published by the World Nuclear Association in April of 2007, Niger is the world's third- to fifth-ranking producer of uranium. In 2005, it produced 3,434 tU, and cumulative production from the country passed 100,000 tU in November 2006. Despite this, Niger, which only recently opened its doors to international mining companies, remains relatively unexplored for uranium.
